2022-2023 Fellow CME scholarships

OMeGA launched a new scholarship cycle for the 2022-2023 academic year to provide funding to clinical fellows at US teaching institutions to attend an ACCME-accredited meeting. 

The 2022-2023 Q1/Q2 Fellow CME scholarship application period is now closed. Notifications will be sent to applicants September 7-9, 2022.

  • OMeGA will award up to one scholarship per orthopaedic teaching institution per academic year.

  • Scholarships up to $2,000 will be available.

  • Covered meetings are subject to funded categories. 1

  • Covered expenses are registration (if applicable), travel, and lodging. 2

  • Clinical fellows interested in a Q3/Q4 scholarship must complete a short application, starting November 7, 2022.

1 Covered meetings are limited to OMeGA's 27 partners and the subspecialties for which we have support. This includes subspecialty categories and a non-subspecialty category that includes AAOS, AOA, ORS, RJGOS, RJOS, MSIS, and ORA.

2 Several societies have shown their support for fellowship education and the registration fee will not be incurred by the fellow scholarship recipient for these meetings.

Application period closes: Friday, August 26, 2022, 5pm CDT

Review period: August 29-September 6, 2022

Scholarship notifications: September 7-9, 2022
