Shoulder & Elbow

OMeGA Medical Grants Association fellowship grants support clinical fellowship programs in all nine orthopaedic subspecialty categories. Grants may be used for fellow salary and benefits only. Programs must email OMeGA to request preapproval of exceptional items if salary and benefit support is not possible.

Shoulder & Elbow data at a glance

Grant recipient programs submit reports providing trending data. Aggregate data is shared only when there is a minimum of five recipients in a subspecialty in an academic year.

  • OMeGA grants supported 12 Shoulder & Elbow fellows in 2015-2016
  • Grants were awarded to 66.67% of programs that applied
  • OMeGA-supported fellows in the first six months of the 2015-2016 academic year reported 47 Shoulder & Elbow clinical research projects
