OMeGA Medical Grants Association fellowship grants support clinical fellowship programs in all nine orthopaedic subspecialty categories. Grants may be used for fellow salary and benefits only. Programs must email OMeGA to request preapproval of exceptional items if salary and benefit support is not possible.

Trauma data at a glance

Grant recipient programs submit reports providing trending data. Aggregate data is shared only when there is a minimum of five recipients in a subspecialty in an academic year.

  • OMeGA grants supported 15 Trauma fellows in 2018-2019
  • Grants were awarded to 53.57% of programs that applied
  • OMeGA-supported fellows reported 29 Trauma clinical research projects in the first six months of the 2018-2019 academic year
